St. Louis Hills Homes on STLRealEstate.com
St. Louis Hills is a neighborhood located in Southwest St. Louis city. Many consider it to be the most desireable neighborhood in the city. It is home to large trees, unique brick homes and architecture, as well as the absolutely fantastic Francis Park. St. Louis Hills is one of the newest of the popular neighborhoods in the city, as it only dates back to the 1930s and 1950s, when most of the area was constructed to allow people with jobs in the city to move out of the city. Now, it's bounded by Chippewa Street, Hampton Avenue, Gravois Avenue, and the city limits. With two parks, including the Forest Park, used for the 1904 World Fair Site, rich architecture, and a location that is both quiet and near to things to do, it's an excellent place to live by any standards. With picturesque homes and buildings, many of which have a French influence, the area is also beautiful, for sightseeing and for living in.
Very nice owner occupied 2-family in St. Louis Hills. Each unit has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath & nearly 1300 square feet of living space. 2nd flr unit has wood floors in the living room & dining room, 1st flr unit has carpet. Both units have plenty of closet space (a rarity in these buildings) including a coat closet, linen closet & pantry (2nd flr only). The kitchens are spacious & bright with retro metal cabinets & newer appliances. You won't be afraid to use the basement for your laundry & storage - lots of light, concrete walls & higher ceilings eliminate the dingies. Backyard is fenced & has a 2-car garage with a divider providing one space for each tenant. You will be pleasantly surprised by the size of each apartment inside this 2-family. 2nd flr tenant is on a 1 year lease through July 31, 2009. Tari Brown 314.664.0901
